I was sent a breathtakingly lovely outfit some time ago from Austina Magic, the talented designer behind Arya Boutique. I would like to begin my blog post by offering my sincerest apologies for not blogging it sooner! I am grateful for the opportunity given for me to show off this flamboyant display of artistic fashion, and I hope I am able to do it justice.
The peacock is a majestic bird, notably marked by its brilliant feather plumes of color. The Peacock Girl outfit is a very thoughtful, and well designed interpretation of the characteristics of the vibrant animal. The texture, colors, and detail really pop, and hues of greens, blues, reds, and pinks abound. Austina Magic worked extremely hard on this ensemble–and it shows!
I can totally see this design being worn in a pageant. It is a remarkable wardrobe piece. The ensemble comes complete with flower earrings, flower and feather attachments for hip and shoulder, the plume attachment on the back, as well as the eye-catching skirt and train. The halter top front features more color kaleidoscopes of a peacock in its colors and design. Its revealing cut around the bustline adds definite exotic sex appeal and elegance.
My look was brought together with hair from Plume; the flowers tied the look together beautifully! I also added fingernails by Je Suis.
I really love the ideas behind this ensemble. Also, I paid a visit to the Arya Boutique and for anyone who adores East Indian clothing, Austina has designed many traditionally styled Indian outfits and Indo-Western pieces. If you are a lover of salwars and lenghas, be sure to drop by!
